ABOUT ME

​

My name is Mar García Mejías aka Mar Ejada, but some people know me just by Mar Garcia.

​

I work in the audiovisual Art Department. Producer Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator, Props Master, Assistant Art Director, or just part of Art Department. Different roles depending on the project (Assistant, Set Dec or Props Buyer, Co-ordination, Graphics, etc). My goal is to be a Production Designer or Set Decorator in ever better and more beautiful movies and projects but I´m happy being part of the department as part of my way and learning.

 

Graduated in Fine Arts in Spain between the Universities of Seville (Academic and figurative Arts) and Barcelona (Design and Audiovisual specialties) but I have worked on projects of many nationalities: Spain, UK, USA, India, Italy, France, Finland ... For platforms such as Netflix, HBO, Movistar+, or for industries such as Hollywood or Bollywood, among others. I have worked in films but also in TV series, documentaries, advertising, video clips, etc.

My training is very broad, I have several Masters and Postgraduate Degrees. Between them, I highlight the Postgraduate in Art Direction and Production Design at ESCAC (Superior Catalonian Film School in Barcelona), but my studies range from graphic design or textile design to 3D, after effects, or video game design.​ And other courses and skills range from photography, artistic painting, illustration, video edition, design, graphics, and direction.
